UCARD Innovations Limited ("UCARD", "we", "us") provides digital banking and payment software to financial institutions. This policy explains what data we handle, how we protect it, and the rights of the institutions and individuals whose data passes through our platforms. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).
Business contact details, account credentials, configuration data, and usage records needed to deliver and support the service.
Where an institution uses our platform, we process customer data on their behalf as a data processor. This may include names, BVN/NIN, contact details, account and transaction records, and KYC information. The institution is the data controller and owns this data.
Details you submit through our demo request form — name, institution, role, country, and message — used only to respond to your enquiry.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use end-customer data for our own marketing.
Data is stored on secured infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest.
We share data only with: (a) the institution that controls it; (b) vetted sub-processors that help us run the service (hosting, communications), under confidentiality obligations; and (c) authorities where legally required.
We retain institution and customer data for as long as the institution's agreement is active and as required by applicable financial-services record-keeping rules. On termination, data is returned or deleted per the institution's instructions and our Terms of Service.
Individuals whose data we process have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their data, and to object to certain processing. Because we usually act as a processor for institutions, end customers should direct requests to their institution, which will coordinate with us. Institutions can request data export or deletion directly.
